Time to choose - patient choice and the NHS backlog

We worked with the Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN) to investigate the role patient choice could play in tackling long waiting lists for elective care. Based on patient surveys, focus groups, and data analysis, the final report clearly showed patients in England were not clear about their right to choose where they receive their treatment. Many of the recommendations made in the report have been accepted and implemented by NHS England.
